I’m here to find, write and share the words that get you where you want to go.
I mostly work with big brands that need a copywriter with a lot of experience, who can work across a variety of formats with people at all levels of seniority.

1. I do commercial creativity
​
First I get clarity on your identity, and marketing and copy strategy. Once I'm very clear about what you want, I get up at 5.40am* to write about what we need to do, using stream of conscious writing that gives me an original perspective and allows me to see things I’d miss with a more structured initial approach.
​
I then interview a variety of your ideal customers and employees to ensure the copy I’m going to write serves both brand and customers’ needs. The aim is to write copy that has your customers asking ‘but how did they know that?!’.
I then write, edit and proof the copy and work with you to ensure everyone is happy, before handing it over to you.

(Obviously the above does not apply for small jobs with a quick turnaround.)

2. I don't do creative tantrums
​
I'm a professional. I don’t have hissy fits and I’ve never missed a deadline. Although I'm an easy-going person I take my work very seriously and am committed to ensuring it is as powerful as possible.
For the last few years I’ve invested thousands of pounds to work intensively with leading coaches including Suzy Ashworth, Polly Lavarello and Manj Weerasekera on marketing, online strategy and coaching.

3. I'm not just a copywriter
Now that 2024 is here I finally get the neatness of saying I've been doing this work for twenty years!
During this time I've learnt a lot of stuff. I combine experience in features writing and coaching to create marketing copy that people want to read (I had the highest click through rate in the Arcadia group), and to diplomatically guide the people involved in a brand’s copy to make better choices.
